Once the largest urban farm located in the United States, spanning 14 acres and feeding 350 families in the midst of an industrial and commercial landscape, the South Central Farm was an oasis located on 41st and Central flourishing from 1992 - 2006.
Today the land is owned by PIMA Corporation, a clothing conglomerate with plans to develop the parcel into a factory and warehouse facility. We need your support in urging PIMA to realize that selling the parcel could be a win/win situation for both them and the larger Los Angeles community.
